Something I need people to understand, especially able-bodied people but I've gotten this from other disabled folk as well, is that yeah I could be doing more, but oftentimes I have to choose between doing what's required of me and what's good for me.

Yeah, I probably could get all of my schoolwork done no problem, but I'm so exhausted after just going to school that doing anything more than lying in bed for a few hours would cost me. Can I physically get up? Yeah, I do when my parents demand it of me, but it's not good for me.

I've tried doing more, I've tried pushing myself to do the things that I need to get done, it just doesn't work. I'll just be even more exhausted, I'll just be in more pain, and it's not fair.

Please stop reminding me of my "potential". Please stop telling me that I'm "not trying my hardest". I know that. Sometimes my hardest is hard on me.

bitches will love magic systems and then dread studying stem because its hard. Like, your mind IS the magic! Physicists, biologists, and chemists are literal wizards. They can transmute substances and cure diseases and predict the future. Engineers have made structures that stand for millennia and rocks that think and enchanted clothes and wonders we can barely imagine. Mathematicians are eldritch creatures that can peer into the fabric of reality and will reveal what they see if only you learn their language.

So yes, stem is difficult and esoteric and maybe can’t be mastered, but its literal magic and its everywhere and if you can’t appreciate that, I don’t even know how you get through the day.

this is also a reminder to take care of your mind. Magic runs on your mind and sheer willpower. If you’re studying late and getting drowsy, go to sleep. Consider meditating if you’re stressed out. Exercise regularly. It’s definitely not easy, but the benefits are real.

do you think if billy were to babysit babies/watch over them for overworked parents, probably to get some money and they were to watch movies. do you think they would watch some sort of movie that was/is matilda the musical and like.

you know that part of the movie where theres a line called "my mommy says im a miracle!" what if billy would giggle at that line and call the babies hes babysitting a little miracle if the baby were to babble (like,, billy: "Yeah! That's you!! A little miracle :DD") as they both watch it on the tv. and like what if this becomes a habit. because 'a little miracle' is a kinda phrase that sticks to you

and this carries over to captain marvel. and when, for whatever reason, one of the jl or yj members ask what they are to captain marvel he's like

"a little miracle, why? :D"

and that the person whose asking is like. "oh!" because wow thats. wow they have never heard someone say that with such genuineness before. especially one they see as a sorta. father figure thing

and like. they mightve ended up tearing up a little tiny bit afterwards maybe
